Our Wedding

Our wedding took place at 2pm on Sunday, April 8, 2018.  We celebrated at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega, Georgia.

Our Wedding Party

Lisa Clavell
Bridesmaid
Our friendship was solidified one fateful night eighteen years ago. Nothing like being brought together by Armageddon at the dollar theater, a broken down 1978 Ford Pinto, and a thunderstorm. Since then I've been so honored to be a part of Michael and Lisa's lives, and their four beautiful daughters (otherwise known as my niecelings). Life just wouldn't be the same without you. And considering how long we've waited for this wedding, there is no way I could do this without you by my side.
Misti Mann
Bridesmaid
All I need to say is "welcome to my friendship". I can't even tell you what slightly inappropriate story was being told when suddenly, Misti blurted that out. And the rest is history. She's my resident pop-culture expert, book loving, talk about anything and also nothing girl.

Laurel Englehardt
Bridesmaid
We jokingly say Laurel was just waiting for me to grow up so we could be friends. The Englehardts have been family friends for a long time. I heard so many stories about her, but we never truly got to know each other until we were older. Not only is she one of my best friends, she comes as a package deal with her entire family. And boy are they the best family. I've been so lucky and happy to be welcomed into all the love and boisterousness.

Randy Mercier
Groomsman
Randy and Tom met over ten years ago riding motorcycles in the mountains in North Georgia. Red-headed brothers from another mother. I'll never forget coming back from Los Angeles, driving cross country in Revca, the 1955 Buick Rebecca and I bought in LA. On Day 3, we were somewhere in the desert mountains, with no civilization in site, and BOOM, we heard an explosion. The car had died. We drifted over to the side, next to a moose crossing sign, and Tom assessed the damage. Randy was very worried. We soon realized that an oversight on Tom's part lead to a battery shorting out and exploding, and we were stranded with very little cell battery or signal. Hours later, very cold hours later, we made it out on the back of a tow truck. Those were some tense moments on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere trying to keep warm, and keep calm, laughing all the while.

Erv Kollek
Groomsman
Tom sold Erv a motorcycle in 2006 with the agreement to deliver it to his house. He was then introduced to Erv's enormous collection of motorcycles, and they've been friends and business partners ever since. "We were driving a race transport van for motorcycle races in Jennings, Florida. It was late at night, on the interstate, and out of nowhere a huge thunderstorm came up. The wipers were on high. I could barely see and as we were discussing how bad the situation was we started to notice ice cold water dripping down our backs. The space between the cab and the part of the van holding the motorcycles started leaking! We were screaming and cussing all at the same time. Erv said "we are going to look back on this and laugh every time". It was horrible and terrible and freezing. But he was right."

Jim Edleston
Groomsman
This man is my mentor, my idol, my best friend. He understands me better than anyone else because we are so much alike. In another life we would be twin brothers. From our love of motorcycles, to our very quick wit and odd sense of humor, we are identical. I've never been more honored than this moment to have him stand beside me for support as an equal, a friend, and a father.

Maple Boyer & Alex Boyer
Flower Girl/Ring Bearer (otherwise known as the cutest things ever)
Maple and Alex are Rebecca's great-niece and great-nephew. They provide us with hours of entertainment and we are excited to include them in our wedding.
